It can also be used post-surgery to cover ointments, wounds, and bandages, etc. The fabric is made of polyester which is soft and elastic to wear. The hip brace wraps around the wound, preventing the dog from licking or biting, which promotes recovery hip brace for dogs with hip dysplasia.

Quick tips

  • Allow up to two weeks for your pet to fully accept the brace
  • Wear the brace for 30 minutes a day, increasing 30 minutes each day after, for up to 12 hours.
  • Consult your veterinarian for specific instructions on when to wear leg braces for dogs with hip dysplasia.
  • Remove the brace when your animal sleeps at night.

    I'm very happy with the results of this brace! This brace is very comfortable, easy to put on, and of good quality. My dog won’t want to tear it apart. I especially like its design. It can wrap the dog’s buttocks well and cover his wounds well. Kenin doesn’t reject it either, which is the most important thing. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

    I recently purchased the dog hip hound brace and I am very happy with the results of this product so I wanted to share my experience with it.     My 15 year old dog has been receiving acupuncture and stimulation for some time to help with pain and muscle weakness. Without acupuncture, his hind legs started to sink and he was unable to go up or down stairs while standing with his legs together. I saw an ad for this hip brace on social media and read the reviews and wanted to give it a try. The first week I had him exercising in the hip brace for an hour a day and almost immediately noticed that he was able to stand upright with his legs spread apart and he started walking up and down stairs without any issues. The second week he was great. I just started doing treatments every other day and the results seem to be long lasting.

    My Maltese has had luxating patelles or bad knees for 12 years. This is a little tough to get on as she wiggles alot. Once on, she walks much better without falling. I should have had this years ago for her

    After reading some reviews I didn’t have high hopes for this brace for our 15 year maltipoo.But it has been a life saver. Lasi couldn’t walk much at all. Her back left foot turned inward and she was dragging it. If she held it up it wasn’t for long before she had to sit down.We put this up on her and within an hour she was walking all over the house. Her leg was straight down. She is more playful than she has been in a few years. All we do is watch her walk and say “ look she is walking again”. We are thrilled. Thank you!
